Levi Jones-Leary Seminar

One of the unique things that we like to do at Estilo Jiu Jitsu is host visits from high-level experts who can share new and different perspectives on BJJ. Seminars are great ways to be exposed to cutting-edge techniques. And our students can learn so much from a diversity of experiences, particularly when it's coming from some of the best practitioners in the world.

It was an honor to host two such experts, Levi Jones-Leary and Alanis Santiago, for an awesome seminar. Levi is a black belt under Murilo Santana, training out of Unity Jiu Jitsu in New York City. Alanis is a brown belt from Unity as well. Both are extremely high-level competitors and they brought a ton of battle-tested knowledge to our mats. They covered a lot of great details on guard retention (our personal favorite), back takes, kimura and tarikoplata attacks.
